If it’s almost time for a new furnace, it’s best to be well-informed before making a final decision about which type of heater will go in your home. Too often, people are willing to let contractors make that choice for them, and give little input themselves into what type of system they would prefer and what they would like to pay in the long term.
It’s a pain to have to call in a technician when a heating system stops working. It’s even worse when this happens during a storm or in the middle of the coldest night. However, this is when problems are most likely to occur—when heating equipment is working the hardest.
